James B. Schultz

Age 70, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.  James was born on Nov. 6, 1951 in Elmira, son of the late William A. Schultz & Ruth P. Pealer Schultz.  James was a graduate of Southside High School, Class of 1970.  Professionally, James spent many years working as a Master Auto Body Technician at Gary's Body Shop here in Elmira.  In his free time, James was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and hikes with his beloved dog, Coco.  James is survived by his son, James E. Schultz (Danielle Bennett); four siblings, William S. Schultz, Sue Schultz, Lynne (Steve) Macy and Barbara (Henry) Price; two grandchildren, Jordan and Cameron; special friends, Gary & Linda Cornell; his beloved four-legged companion, Coco; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by a sister, Tess; and brother, Eric J. Schultz.  Family and friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway St., Southport/Elmira on Wed., Oct. 26, 2022 between the hours of 4-6pm with a memorial service to follow at 6:15pm.
