POTTS, Steven Wayne, Age 56, of Talbott, TN, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009, at home after an extended illness.  Steven was a devoted husband, father, son and friend to many.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mackey J. Potts.  He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Janet; son, Timothy (Leanne) Potts of Jefferson City, TN; mother, Mary Potts of Elmira, NY; sister, Theresa (Nicholas) Fusare of Elmira; brother-in-law, John (Mary Jo) Thomas of Florida; several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was a 1970 graduate of Southside High School and BOCES Trade Electrical Program.  Steven worked for American Bridge US Steel and in the zinc mining industry.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in memory of Steven Potts to be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church Building Fund, PO Box 304, Jefferson City, TN 37760 or St. Mary's Residential Hospice, 7747 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938.  Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, TN is handling arrangements.
