VERNA HOWE HOUSTON

Verna M. Houston   Age 70 of Wellsburg, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021.  She was born on November 5, 1951 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late LaVerne and Doris Barber Howe.  Verna was a member of the Mark Twain Cadets Team sponsored by the Elmira Heights American Legion.  She had a love and talent for knitting.  Verna was pre-deceased by her parents; her daughter, April Mae Allison on December 27, 2020, and her sister, Marguerite R. Isbell on July 26, 2012.  Mrs. Houston is survived by her loving husband, Danny J. Houston; daughter & son-in-law, Angela & Mico Andrews of Watkins Glen, NY; son, Raymond Houston of Wellsburg, NY; grandchildren: Raymond Allison, Tony Allison, Miejylous Deese, Connor Barnes, Alexis Andrews; great grandchildren: Zanya, Minaya, Zonya, Anthony, Dayvon; brother, Willis Howe of Elmira, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Lynch Funeral Home, 318 West Broad Street, Horseheads, NY.  It is the family's wish to wait until after the holidays to do any services.  Words of condolence and memories may be shared at www.lynchsfuneralhome.com.
