YVONNE THERESA ZURIS SPEAREN, Age 44, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday,  October 17, 1996.  Born April 8, 1952 to Arthur Francis Zuris and his wife Leona Teresa Jones Zuris, Yvonne was a member of Saint Mary’s Church in Elmira and a 1970 graduate of Elmira’s Southside High School.  She is survived by her husband Walter Dean Spearen; daughter Joann Spearen Champluvier; son Jammy Spearen; brothers Charles and Arthur Jr; sisters Margaret and Mary; sister-in-law Lori Zuris; grandchildren Carissa, George Jr. and Sean; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Her parents and her brother Wesley preceded her in death. Bonnie loved the Lord and her family and was very fond of gardening.  She was a fun-loving woman who was very kind and generous and is missed by her family and those who loved her.  Bonnie was an Avon representative.  She was a "master of all trades" from fixing a lawnmower to selling Avon products.  Family and friends are invited to Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 1-3 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal will be held Monday in St. Mary's Church at a time to be announced.  Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
